All My Posts Through 11-11-11
Since nahmodlaw.com began in August 2009, I have published almost 70 posts, including videos and podcasts, on what I consider to be topics of interest and importance going beyond what might be considered “hot” at any particular time.
It is now time to create an updated and inclusive current list of all of my linked posts by category for ease of reference and use. (I did it once before well over a year ago).
This update will, I hope, be useful not only to my regular readers but also, and especially, to those who have only recently discovered this blog, whether through oyez.org or otherwise.
(Note that it is always possible to use the “search function” to look for particular cases or topics among every one of my posts, including those subsequent to this one).
What follows is a list comprising all of my posts divided into the following categories:
SECTION 1983; CONSTITUTIONAL LAW; FIRST AMENDMENT; EDUCATION Read the rest of this entry »
Blog on Vacation until Late August: Coming Attractions
The blog and I are on vacation until late August.
When we return, I will post on recent circuit court affirmative duty and malicious prosecution cases arising under section 1983.
August 22 is also the beginning of the academic year at Chicago-Kent, so I will resume posting on constitutional law issues as well.
Enjoy the rest of summer.

Blog on Vacation; 2010 Plans
Vacation
My blog and I are busy grading exams, finishing an article and then vacationing afterward. We will return during the week of January 18, 2010, the first week of the spring semester.
In 2010
I will continue my series of posts on all aspects of § 1983, from the basics to the complexities.
I will also continue to address interesting and important constitutional law issues as they arise in the courts and in the classroom. I will likely focus on speech, press and religion issues in the first half of 2010, since I will be teaching the First Amendment course next semester.
Thanks
These first four months of this blog have been rewarding to me and I hope to some of you as well. I look forward to resuming it next month.
In the meantime, I wish you a happy and healthy new year.
Sheldon Nahmod
